Just a Thought

It is not always easy to find your nitch in the world of art. Some of us have been doing it for years now and still have not found whats makes our heart skip a beat. I personally have tried to do everything I have seen. I have done abstract, mixed media, journaling; I have made a load of different variety of crafts, and crafty things. I have used every medium there is to use. And I found out something about myself... whatever I am feeling at the time is what I will roll with. There are no rules to art. If it makes you feel good at the time...then DO IT! You do not have to be a master at anything. If it helps you to feel better about that moment, then that is what you roll with. Do not worry about what is suppose to be. Do not worry that someone else's art looks better than yours. No one is perfect. Those artist may not tell or show you how much time they have put into something. Even if it looks like it was easy... once you try it...it may not have been as easy as you thought. I get a lot of people at my craft shows that say, " Well I could do that." And I just smile. Because maybe they can do it...but maybe they can not. And they probably will never find out, because instead of just buying it from me, they decide to make it, but never do. So do not worry about your art. Art is a get away from this world. Not everything is beautiful. But there will be something that is. So have fun and roll with it.
